Head Pastor
Pastor Charles Brown and his wife Elizabeth have been dedicatedly shepherding Abundant Life for 25 years and have raised four adult children and sixteen grandchildren. Originally from New Jersey, Pastor Brown felt compelled to devote his service to the Colchester community. His hobbies are usually fitness-related, such as running and biking, and he can often be seen around town riding his motorcycle to church.
Having attained a Doctorate in Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Pastor Brown’s spiritual gifts are teaching, encouraging, and mercy. He is passionate about seeing people develop a relationship with God and grow in their God-given gifts. His commitment to missions has seen him serve as Vice President of Liberia's orphanage and volunteer professor at a bi-lingual institute in Hartford, Connecticut, where he currently leads a Zoom church group from Uganda
